Cretins! That's the only word for it! And to think it's eight weeks to Winterfest - that's Christmas to those who don't believe we'll offend other faiths!  |

Surely in the past it was called "Yuletide".
I'm almost certain that before Christianity it was a throwback to an ancient Celtic Festival where druids said goodbye to the last year and looked forward to the next year with hope and abundance. _________________ Please support Cancer Research. |

Yes, you are spot on about we Christians not wishing to upset other faiths, Moslems in particular. They are the one diety who we in the west are suddenly wary of, maybe even scared of.
Did anyone notice that last Christmas, many cards were entitled "Seasons Greetings" instead of A merry Christmas?
So let me wish all faiths A very merry and happy Christmas and wish you peace and joy to all mankind.
Oh! Let me be the first to wish everyone A Happy Easter too when it comes.
