STV certainly seem to be changing their schedules a lot recently. They have already dropped THE BILL but I have noticed quite a few other things that been dropped. They are also buying progs from Ireland.
Maybe its the budget and advertising revenue.

Since they merged with Grampian they have been on a downward spiral.

I don't think the revenue is there from advertising anynore.

Shame the local stations had to go!

Jings I didn't realise that STV also didn't buy the third series of Benidorm - now I really thought that was a right laugh shame we won't get to see it. Also the new series of Midsommer Murders hasn't been taken up!

It would seem that ITV are now threatening STV with legal action and want 38 million off them. Go tell Michael Grade to go sling his hook!

I'm gonna get flack for this, but I dinna care..
Scottish (so called)entertainment, is really embarrassing.
See when Children In Need is on, and it cuts to the Scottish studio's.
I stop watching, cos it's like licking a lump of butter..Tiz crap, embarrassing, and makes me cringe.

Bit like Scottish singers, who think they should sing in a Scottish accent.

Could just be my fickle taste though?

I did like Taggart and Rebus with Ken Stott.   I still think the BBC licence fee should be top sliced to help independent broadcasters.  When you read how much waste there is at the BBC and the top brass at the Beeb are ven worse than the MP's when it comes to expenses.

It's just the comedy stuff I don't like, it's just cringy.
That STV show? Is it the hour it's called?..Man thats just crap too.
I used to like Billy Connolly, until he started acting like a laird.
Sold out bigtime.

"I've looked at the ocean, tried hard to imagine, the way you felt,
the day you sailed, from Wester Ross to Nova Scotia."

One of the best lines in any song I've ever heard.

I've just discovered that I can get all the ITV shows that STV didn't buy on Virgin channel 853 so I will be able to watch Benidorm after all

I'd rather not Wackitty, I like a program that goes all the way.
