Kind of pal, but right now, I'm getting chucked out of my hoose, so god knows.
Feck...Dunno when I'm gonna get here now, cos I won't have internet, till I find somewhere to live.
I'm gonna have to leave this site to all of you, to look after for me.
Life ain't a bowl of cherries, dunno who wrote that, but I could slap them.

Sorry for not getting here.
Aye, I've been having a bit of bother lately with stuff, and nonsense.
But, my house is safe, so thats a huge weight off my mind.
I'll be here properly soon, and tell you all whats been happening with me.
But things are looking up at last.
Right now, I need to go for a piddle. _________________

I'll cut a long story short.
I took out a bank loan, 8 years ago, to buy ma wee caravan.
Several recommended refinances later, the loan, and hidden PPP's.
Had spiralled so much, I could barely afford to even feed myself.
So when my brother died last month, I decided to go to the C.A.B.
If any of you, have ever wondered about going there, stop wondering..Do it.
I canny believe just how good those people are, and I love them.
They have helped me so much, the last few weeks, I am so grateful to them.
I've had to declare myself bankrupt, but do I feel guilty? Not in the slightest.
This particular bank, would not help me, in anyway.
I went to them five times this year, to ask for help to reduce my payments.
Not a chance, and they honestly treated me like a bit of crap.
What I've done, I've had to do, to get some kind of life for myself.
I've actually paid the original loan back twice, but still they wouldn't help me.
But in doing this, I put my home at risk, and they were going to take it away from me.
Kick a fellow when he's down, and all that.
But because, it's of no real value to anyone but me, I can stay.
I just haven't had time to be here, trying to sort things out.
There is a light at the end of this financial tunnel.
Anyone else in the same position as me, don't hesitate, to go to the C.A.B
If I hadn't, I'm not sure I could have carried on.
If letting you into this bit of my personal life helps anyone. Then I'm happy. _________________

Aye, I wish I had done this two years ago, instead of scratching around in hope.
The C.A.B is a brilliant place to find help, I'd been told about it before.
I really don't know why I didn't go before, I'm just awfy glad I done it now.
So anyone wondering if they can help... I'm here to say they can.
I can actually save now, and give myself options.
Something I couldn't do for a long time, so I'm happy. _________________

I was up early today Waco, I'm going through all my direct debits,
to change them from my old nasty bank, to my new nice bank.
The old bank has been phoning, and threatning things.
But I went to them five times this year asking for help.
So they can honestly, take a run, and jump, Blithering numpties.
If they had helped me, I would have happily, stayed with them.

I think the CAB are fab to be honest had all sorts of problems when me and my wife split up and left the Police. They fought my corner and debts that you think you can handle as a couple are magnified by 100% when suddenly that's gone.
I still have debtors on the phone but I confidently tell them to shut the f*** up. Yes the CAB are great. The Banks can go take a hike - gonna find myself a matress from now on LOL. |

Aye Ricky, I know what you mean about magnified debts.
The folk handling my case now, are good too, full of advice, and it's good advice.
This means I won't get credit for a long time, but I dinna want it anyway. _________________

| Anytime I have gone to the nearest CAB they have turned us away because our Council doesn't help to fund them so I stopped going. |

Bluemoon do you live near the border between one council area and another?
On asking cos a friend of mine lives in Barhead and tried to use Renfrewshires CAB and was told that he would have to go elsewhere as his postcode is actually East renfrewshire a different council. Maybe that was your problem too?? |

I thought a C.A.B was a drop in centre, which meant anyone could drop in?
Councils, are responsible for a lot of agony in my opinion.
Depending on who is in there, some folk have huge ego's,
and their personal opinions, differ a lot from folk who actually care.
I'm lucky here, our councillers, do actually care about this wee place.
Maybe thats just it, it's because it is such a small place, they would get dogs abuse,
if they didn't didn't treat us right?
I know how lucky I am, to have been giving such great help.
Everyone should be able to get the same help I just did. _________________
