The Wicker Man

Watched it on TV last night.
Starting to look a wee bit dated now, but it was a good film in its time.

Released in 1973. Stars of the movie are Edward Woodward, the great Cristopher Lee, Diane Cilento and Britt Eckland whose nude dance didn't do much for my blood pressure.

It was filmed in Plockton, Skye, Ayrshire, Dunfries & Galloway & Englandshire.

A police sergeant is called to an island to find a missing young girl.
The islands owner claims the girl never existed.

Wicker Man is not a horror movie but a mystery movie.

Great film though!

A superb & seminal film from '73 - but the recently remade pretender (and bastardisation of a good idea) with Nicholas Cage was pure mince!
