There was also a series of 5 programmes on recently all about Scottish History right back from the time of the Picts and presented by the irresistable Dr Neil Oliver (swoon swoon)

I think any Scotsman is very sexy in a Kilt, as long as they are not married.  David Tennant in a kilt would be heaven to me.

Mad welshie there was a bloke in my Tesco's the other week in a kilt and I realised he was their to promote Scotch beef. He was attracting all sort of weirdos poor bloke.  One woman had to excorted out of the store.

I loved last nights Highlands show. I didn't quite realise how bad the clearances where 40,000 masacred and many thousands more shipped off.
It was I suppose a kind of ethnic cleasing although in those days it wasn't thought of in such a way. In fact if Royalty or for instance Duke of Sutherland wanted it - it just happened. No real questions asked.

I missed this show with being ill in bed ... but I'll try to catch it on BBC iprogs.

It can't possibly be as bad as the recent (selective) History of Scotland, presented by that odorous oaf, Neil Oliver!!!

I just watched his programme from Monday night on Cleopatra (telling us nothing new) and her sister, Arsinoe!  At that period whole families were murdering each other for wealth and power ... something I'd like to introduce to the boards of RBS and HBOS.

And it was like his previous progs ... filled with too loud, intrusive music, half-assed re-enactments and his f ucking awful delivery.

The man's a prawn!!!

My thoughts exactly, and so many Scots still think the word "Sassenach" means English, when it really means Lowland Scot or English person.

I also hate these outdoor programmes where the cameraman focusses on the presenter rather than the stunning scenery

You got me SO wrong.

There's only one BIG MAN ... and Billy Connolly played that in 1990.
