All over the world the name Jimmy Shand is identified with Scotland and it`s music. Here he is playing his most well known tune.
The Bluebell Polka, with the Jimmy Shand Jnr Band.
This video was recorded in 1994 when Jimmy Shand was aged 86.
He became Sir Jimmy Shand in 1999.

Bob and Graeme,

Naethin's come up! Get it sorted. Onywye I have to say that my overall favourite dunce is a toss-up between the Gay Gordons and Strip the Willow; back in the days when you could get a hud o' a quine. And there wis barn dunces reels, strathpeys and jigs. We had great fun. Luxury Liner is my favourite jig wi’ Albert Lee and Brad Paisley et all.

Noo fit’s yir favourite version o’ Dark LochNagar; again it’s a toss-up between Calumn Kennedy and the Corries. And fit aboot Five Hand Reels’ “the Earl o’ Moray” wi’ Dick Gaughan at his maist majestic. And yiv got to listen to Dick Gaughan’s version o’ “Games People Play”; it really brings it a’ hame.

You may be behind a firewall where you are Wullie.
It may be stopping the You Tube!

Here are the links to try.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=g3hAtxZXNrA

http://youtube.com/watch?v=d5pc53pYnhs

If that doesn't work it won't be allowed at the library and stopped by a firewall or the IT man.
