True NorthI picked up a programme for the local volunteer-run film club that specialises in World Cinema, usually stuff that has been out for while. In May, they are showing the film True North a story about the skipper of a Scottish trawler who is bankrupt and close to losing his ship. In Ostend, his son accepts money to smuggle Chinese illegal immigrants to Scotland in order to keep the vessel.
I think it is couple of years old but as I haven’t seen the film and the cast includes Peter Mullan and Gary Lewis, I thought it may be worth getting a numb bum for
