The beaver is back.

No sexual innotations please!
But the humble beaver is going to be introduced back into Scottish waterways to try to improve the habitat and manage wetland forest area's.

Is this an effort by well meaning naturalists, or is it something to be avoided?

The beavers (the animal variety) have been back for over a year.  Remember one escaped last year???

You have to give them at least 5 years before we know what impact they will or have had on the environment!

As for the other beaver ... that's been plaguing Man for thousands of years!!!

I am led to believe there are fewer and fewer genuine 'other beaver' about since the invention of female razors !!
