SNP spring ConferenceConference is always good and especially the fringe meetings. Unfortunately the one I picked for 12.30 <buffet and coffee> was on the 8th floor. The topic was "Benefit reform who benefits?" John Mason MP in attendance. The queue for the lifts was filled with people who could do with a bit of benefit reform so I took to the stairs.
Interesting meeting about the current raft of changes to the benefits system.
Talking of work I have always fancied being Nicola Sturgeon's bag carrier. So while at conference I just had to ask her. "Gonae gee us a joab". REPLY "Aye sure the NHS have 600 how are you with a mop". Ye can go off people ye ken.
