John "Smeto" "I'll set aboot ye" to stanI see that Smeto is to stand in the Glasgow NE by-election as an independent. He is being sponsored by a former director-general of the conservative party.
Now while he did a great job at the airport there where others involved in that too. They didn't get the same recognition. John just happened to have the bounce to get to the camera's and reporters first.
I hate his column in the Sun he always seem so smug and self-righteous.
Na I think hoping to become an MP is a step too far and he really has no connection with Glasgow. Still I guess 66,000 quid a year is a bit better than chucking luggage onto aircraft. Maybe I am just being a tad cynical can't help it though sorry.

And if anyone saw his press conference on Friday on the news. He was at a loss for words and couldn't answer a single question. He was pretty spooked by the journalists probing.

No doubt Smeto will be given a crash course of how to present himself before the by-election. He will soon learn how the art of deceit works. He will soon be getting the speech writers working for him.

Actually I stand corrected just saw a picture of them both cuddling - they are both together but Independent.
