Is SP3 safe or notI have read many articles about the pro's and con's surrounding why we should instal Service Pack 3 using windows PC's.
As with SP2 I was sceptical about that instalation until I had to after having to do a wipe and complete re-install of windows.
I know that as a user that before installation I have to backup everything, do a complete virus scan and delete all cookies etc. But why must I have to go through all that bother?
Microsoft have still not recognised that many users have no need to do so as our PC's work quite well without SP3.
We do not have to rely on windows updates as long as we have a decent anti-virus checker and keep it up to date and scan often.
Is that the case, or not?
