Hey! Here's an easier way!
When you find your video on youtube, left click on embed, it highlights then right click on 'copy'.
when posting, just 'paste' into post, then click on 'preview, then submit! It works!
Perisphere

I tried that for a lark, not knowing if it would work or not, the first time I had a go. And it worked for me!

I can sometimes see it with Firefox, but not always and I can't see it at all with Internet Explorer.
(Yes I know some may see it with I.E. but not everyone will!)

I wish they would do it that way as it is a lot quicker and easier to do.

The site recommends that you do it this way though!

It does mean you have to type for the moment, but hopefully we can add a button or find another way to do it.

I favour the copying and pasting the *embedded* code from You Tube as it is the easiest. But it does NOT work properly here!

Once I find some time I will have a look to see if it can be done properly so as all can see it or get a You Tube button to do most of the work for you so all you have to do is copy and paste the page URL.

But I am a bit busy at the moment with someone working in the house so I have to make constant cups of tea for him & the odd meal

MyFF have now sorted out a raft of coding and video clients, meaning that it is OK to embed video in your posts now without having to use the usual video tag brackets.
