HOPE SPRINGSThought this new show on BBC 1 last night was quite a hoot. Annette Crosbie was so funny playing the old run down hotel keeper. And when the 5 million went up in smoke I thought that was brill. They wanted to go to Barbados with the ill gotten gain but ended up in Scotland. Good show. Always loved seeing Lorraine McIntosh ( awa back and play Alice).

I fair enjoyed it. It was something a bit different and all the better for being set in Scotland. I loved the bit where they got off the train and the weather was howlin' and they were dressed for the beach

And the bit when yon daft bitch was cornered by the ram. Or when the Asians where all in the bar rattling away in Scots and she said sorry I dont speak Gaelic.
