I think you've also a £10 monthly fee for the Sky + facility.
We can't get broadband Sky here yet, plus just changed our BT line to something else.
Also just ditched my Sky, my kids were horrified!
Now went from Sky (£38 a month) to hiring dvds on line £12 odds, unlimited package of 2 at any one time. Also got a complimentary card from a friend so got 3 months free trial before paying the subscription.

If your an existing Virgin media customer like me whose 12 month contract ends soon I bet my bill goes way up soon. 36.00 at moment for Large TV package; 10mb Broadband, and phone line no free calls. Also I get the Virgin + box for that?

I have never liked the aspect of having to pay for something that I do not want and never will do so.
Sky, Cable and other networks offer a package to customers of only around 10% of programmes that said customer may want to watch, the rest of which is to say at least, an insult.
A package is to my imagination anyway a group of products that I as a person might want. Not something I don't want.
The sooner these networks offer a real choice of individual programmes, the better our viewing preferences might well be and encourage me to subscribe.
Will they do that?

I ditched Sky for a Freesat box. It's got more than enough for my needs and I also get some free HD. It's all ready to go when HD is the norm.
I've never had their broadband, but have an Orange deal together with my mobile - 500 any time any network minutes and 1100 texts a month for £27.
Whatever telly you've got it's 90% crap anyway.

Doubtful if that will ever happen Allan,SKY are catering for all sorts, but what i find odd is why the hell are we subjected to 20 odd GOD channels, almost all based in America,i don't mind the odd couple but that's way too many imo.
