Started painting the spare bedroom on Sunday, and managed to complete it today. I'm fair chuffed with it.
Of course, now I need duvets, pillows, covers, wee bits and pieces to make it look homely and other parafanailia (sp) that us wimmen always seem to feel a necessity.

Not working again until tomorrow night, so after I tackle the immense pile of ironing, I think a trip to the shops is needed.

I'm just back from the shops Alison, I went to get milk.
I came back without milk?
I did however buy one of those solar light things. So I can find my shed in the dark.
Got it at the petrol station for £2, so it's probably crap.

I could do with a bit of decorating here, but never get motivated.
I've got everything I need, except a box of "boot up the erse"

At some point, I'll need to go, and get some blooming milk.

It was one of those productive days.
I'd set myself the challenge of finishing what will be, the boys' bedroom, plus tackling the huge ironing pile, and going to the shop for various bits and pieces INCLUDING milk.

I achieved all of that, made supper for the man and me, plus managed to chill a couple of bottles of wine, so now it's feet up and relax time.

Tell you what..Ironing, I hate it, so I threw my iron in the bin.
I just shove stuff, under my mattress, and do it that way.
Or just go for the crumpled look, b.ugger it, it's only clothes.

I have to wear shirts for work so at least I'm ironing my own stuff. OH thankfully is a t-shirt and jeans kinda guy so it's minimal ironing for him. Oh and BoB, if you want branded, just geez a shout!

Oh well since I left the Polis I have only been working 20 hours and that sort of suits me fine. Especially as its a really boring job. I was used to everyday being different before but now its just mechanical shit and so repetitive

I had a bat hanging from my curtain a couple of weeks ago.
Cute wee thing, but it bit my thumb, and it was fecking sore.
I managed to put it in my shed though, and left the door open a wee bit.
Never seen it again, so it must be ok.

I was looking at it, cos I've never seen one so close before.
Then I noticed, it had wee beasties crawling all over it.
EEK, it went into the shed sharpish after that.

I'm surprised it didn't, I was peering at it, without my specs Wee John.
So I was probably closer, than I should have been.
They have teeth like flipping needles. Awfy bonny though, Loved it.
