Failing miserably at it, and thinking swearing, and rudeness, is comedy.
Folk like Ken Dodd, (just an example mind).. Were funny without all that. I reckon a true, clever.. "funny" comedian, is one who doesn't need to resort to that. Kenfittamean?

Watch anything by Chic Murray, now he was a flipping genius.
He was slightly blue at times, but it complimented his act. Ken Dodd, is my hero, he is hilarious.
