Beautiful Day In Bonny Scotland

The sun is shining, it's warm.
The grass is growing, so it must be Springtime at last.
That was an awfy long Winter, I hope the Spring weather lasts for a while.
I hope wherever you are, you are having the same sunshine too.
Lord Blackadder

It was hitting 19 degrees in Edinburgh yesterday.  Warmest place in the whole country.  And it was like a summer day in the Gardens.  Bliss!!!
Mad Welshie

21 degrees here today.  Wow what a wonderful day.  Enjoy it whilst it lasts
WACOlives

We were back to near frost today..
planned a 10 mile jog..but had to cancel !!

-----------------------------------------------------------
You walked into the party, like you were walking onto a yacht
Xcotty

A ten mile jog, that would bloody kill me.

It's still brightish outside, and still warm, love it.
Lady of Kincavel

Another beautiful day here too (Sunday). Makes the garden look like it needs a lorra lorra work though, as it looks like a muddy field right now.

That'll keep you happy, eh, Lay??  Get the girls out of your house of ill-repute and get into a bit of mud-wrestling!!

Oh I wish I was there to watch!
Lady of Kincavel

So do I wish you were here. I'd have you do the garden in no time at all, because you wouldn't like the consequences if you refused.
Lord Blackadder

do the garden

Do the garden???

I don't "do" anybody's garden.  Especially those with little plots of land around their hovels that they call a garden.

I employ a head garder, an assistant head gardener and several under gardeners to take care of the Blackackadder land and formal gardens.

"Do gardens"????

Get your "girls" out doing some digging.  It'll take the weight off their flabby behinds!!!
Lady of Kincavel

By the sounds of things you actually don't 'do' much Sir, what a dull life you lead. Do you actually manage to dish out your orders to your horde of staff or is that also too energetic for you? Do you have a Baldrick by any chance?
Lord Blackadder

My "Baldrick" is asleep at the moment. Sssssh!!!
Lady of Kincavel

Another 'Not so beautiful' day here in Bonnie Scotland, at least not where I live. For the second day the rain has lashed down non stop and the wind has howled. More like November here.
Xcotty

Absolutely gorgeous here again today.
It's sunny, warm, and a light breeze, to keep things fresh.
The rain we had has greenified everything.
I might even have to cut ma grass very soon.

It can't make it's mind up here today, I have been in and out with the washing, had enough now, it's in the Tumble dryer
BoB

It is peeing it down now
eloise

It's gone all grey here in Leicester, nice wind would have blown it all dry, if it wasnae fer the b****y rain
Carol

my washing's been rinsed and tumbled dried outside
Angelicweeyin

If I had put my washing out it would have blown away  plus it was chucking it down as well.

It's been one of those days here, you know, not one thing or the other, really frustrating.
Xcotty

I've got rain, and hail outside right now.
Also, it's blowing an absolute hoolie.
Angelicweeyin

Well its miserable again today.  Supposedly to clear up and the wind to abate.  I blame the people from the west myself!

Yesterday was lovely and sunny but there was one drawback, the wind, it was howling.
Carol

blustery in rural Perthshire and rain lashing down.  Yesterday afternoon was strange with a cold wind blowing.
BoB

Yesterday it howled a gale and blew all the blossom off my fruit trees

No fruit this year

Have to buy fruit and stick it onto the trees, my neighbour said they would never have fuit on them.
They did have last year, but I was away when they were ready to pick and they fell off onto stone chippings, this was ok as just brused, but cats pissed on them

Are you sure they won't bear fruit Bob, only the Damson Tree that overhangs our back fence bears fruit every year, I'll let you know if it does this year as the blossom has blown all over the place.

I have told you before Sid that mixing Chili, curry and farty beans is hazordous to ones health.  I am feeling the effects over here.
Perisphere

The weather here is perpetually shite.  9 days in a row of heavy clouds and pissing down rain, then two days of actual sunshine, now today, it was a hoolie two hours ago so bad the rain was sideways and the electricity went off.  They just got it back on about half an hour ago.
eloise

Been lovely here today, the Ceanothus shrub in Blue's garden has flowered this year (bought it in August last year) in his garden where he was buried last June when he died, me and my OH were deciding what else to put in there as we like it to be colurful for him, silly really as he doesn't know, I miss him so much bless him, my boy.
BoB

I take it it is a dog you are talking aboot?
eloise
