I haven't used it Des.
I would take out the 90 day trial first, if no good dump it.
There are others out there that will do it for free.
On saying that, you don't know what information gathering the free ones are doing! There is never such a thing as a free lunch _________________ Inverurie Webcam

There is a few out there you don't have to pay for if it is for home use.
The father-in-law has one that is a one click scan and repair and is free for home use only.
I'll ask him what it is.
I should know as I put it in
If you ask a 12 people you will get 12 answers as to what is the best
What are you running, Xp, vista? _________________ Inverurie Webcam

Have a look at Advanced WindowsCare Personal
If you want to try it or read the reviews. There is also a small film on the page.
Not an all singing all dancing one, but it gets good reviews.
Or you could try this one, bit more complicated and not free, though it keeps working but no updates at the end of the trial period.
But don't rush to put something in as there will be others along with other suggestions.
I did use the first one without any problems for a while.
For some reason, I don't have it now
Be careful what you try, some you are better without! _________________ Inverurie Webcam

Did it not create a safe restore point before it ran a repair scan?
Most of these thing do.
Look for a restore feature in the programme.
You should do a restore point in windows before running these as well.
You paid money _________________ Inverurie Webcam

No, companies have to make money somewhere.
But you could have got Advanced WindowsCare Personal for FREE if it were for personal use. _________________ Inverurie Webcam
