I am so bloody angry after reading this story, I honestly don't know what this country is coming too.
It's about time that the judiciary reviewed and updated the sentences that can be handed down, I really do think that society is becoming more violent, and the punishments awarded are a joke, as can be seen in this case.
It's an insult to the grieving parents.

Disgusting is it!
He appears to a repeated offender as well.
Time to bring back hard labour!
Accused rights, what about the rights of the victums?
This country is just to soft, but I bet if it were you or me we would be inside _________________ Inverurie Webcam

You have to be kidding...That is vehicular homocide...
"In most states in the United States, vehicular homicide is a crime. In general, it involves death that results from the negligent operation of a vehicle, or that results from driving whilst committing an unlawful act."
It starts at 3 and up to twenty...Last year a young woman in her early 30's while driving home ran over a little girl on bike...she is spending 30 years because even though she was not drunk she did have a drink and was speeding in a residential area (speed is 20 to 30 mph)...
And that man ran over him once...ok let's say he was backing out didn't see him...but what the f*ck he deliberately ran over him again and park...tried to get someone else to take the blame and then didn't report an accident, but gave himself up a week later....
OMG...fleeing the scene of an accident is a heavy fine and time in jail (that is with out adding on the rest for what you did)...
You have to be kidding me...? _________________

This is a terrible story, you can bet your life that if money was involved then the guy would have went down for a long time..This country gives more credence to monetary matters than that of someones life being taken.. _________________ Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings. |

I would've thought that the very fact that someone doesn't have a license would render them a dangerous driver and that "dangerous driving" would therefore apply the minute they get behind the wheel of a car.
Btw, does anybody know what the kid was doing on the road in the first place?
