The winding yarn, is a good website for short stories mainly about Scotland.
Dip in there are lots of stories,
The first 3 chapters of this one might be familiar to some

The site welcomes writing and poems have a good browse around, I'm sure you'll find something of interest, you might even know some of the places. _________________ The facts expressed here belong to everybody, the opinions to me. The distinction is yours to draw... |

Well done Bill . I was a bit shaky getting around the site to start with but I eventually got the hang of it.
These will make for lovely memories and references in years to come. |

I should have posted the link to the sitemap, makes it easier. You just scroll down the list and pick the story you want to read
Tachras Site Map
I'll pass on your comments to the site owner.
The bike ride will be continued all the way to Ullapool and back when the editor gets a chance to work on it!!
Enjoy the other stories. _________________ The facts expressed here belong to everybody, the opinions to me. The distinction is yours to draw... |
