Is it only me that gets a bit peed off with changing the clocks backwards and forwards every year.
I do know why this is done, but cannot understand why we in the UK continue to do so.
It's a pain in the ass having to do it twice yearly.
STOP IT AT ONCE, IF NOT, PLEASE VERY SOON! _________________ Please support Cancer Research. |

What do you suggest then Allan, they tried it before and it didn't work.
Do we shift it half an hour and leave it there for both summer and winter?
Remember to shift your clocks |

Does it matter? Leave time alone. It will sort itself out without we mortals attempting to change time versus nature.
We humans tamper enough with what is normal to the world without attempting to change anything more.
Long before timepieces and clocks, we just got on with it. _________________ Please support Cancer Research. |

It isn't just the UK that has a time change for the seasons.
And while it's a pain having to sit up until 2 am to change the clock, we just make a party of it......... |

This initially was done before tractors etc; when horses were used during harvest time so as to extend daylight hours during the harvesting season.
During WW2 this hourly change was doubled, then resorted back to only one hour change where it has remained so to this day.
I hope this has clarified everything. _________________ Please support Cancer Research. |
