The river Don here is very swollen and has led to disaster today.
I was up to take photos and was told Air Sea Rescue was at Kintore.
After getting the story I went home and looked it up..........
Yes they are there looking for someone in the river...........
What a shame for the man and his family.........

I couldn't get anywhere near the river today.
I went up to have a look and I can't get to within 12 feet of where the bank usually is!!!!

Roads are out, bridges down, Inveramsay bridge blocked by an overturned lorry...........commuting is crap around Aiberdeenshire today

the mersey is just at the bottom of my road and sometimes the tide is so high that it comes up onto the road, which is a bit worrying since that's likely to slowly but surely creep even higher.
