I am not advocating doom and gloom, but why is it that I cannot help feeling that President Obama will be assasinated?
I have felt this for quite a while now and cannot understand why I feel this so strongly.

Perhaps because there are far too many white extremists in the US who might attempt this dastardly deed and who might not want a "black" President in charge of their affairs?

The last best President I suppose was JFK abd we all know what happened to him!

My feelings about this are so strong, that I thought I just had to air them here.

Noticed that the announcer mentioned President George Walker Bush ... then President-Elect Barack H. Obama.

Ya think they missed saying his middle name for some reason???

Thought his speech was pretty good though ... gave the last 8 years under Bush a heckuva good kicking!!!

I would've preferred Hillary ... but I'll see what the Irishman does before I hire an assassin!

See ...

There's no-one as Irish as Barack Obama!!

Genius!!!

Feck sake, what a mental thing to say you tart.

I hope he proves all those white..Racist arsehole's wrong.
If given a chance,(like everyone should be), he could do great things.
Whats the alternative, get Bush back in?
How many of our, and other forces men, and woman, have died,
because of Bush, and others like him? Too fecking many.

I'm sure plenty good, kind folk, also have the same name.
Also, I'm sure having that name, doesn't mean they all poke puppys with sticks,
or pour bleach on cute little kittens.

Same, as Bush's middle name, didn't really stand for wanker.
Although in his case, it probably should have.

Wow!!! That's a bit hard on the guy. I take it that you are not in favour of a black American President then?

Personally I really do want him to succeed. At this moment of time the World needs a hero and he may be just that person.

Like most people I realise that he has a hell of a job to do, and once the hype has died down, and things get back to reality, I hope that the American nation will bear in mind that an amateur, with virtually no experience is now the leader of one of the Worlds most powerful nations.

Yes peoples expectations are high, and if he doesn't deliver on the important everyday issues, like healthcare, employment, housing, education, etc,  then that is when I visualise trouble ahead.

I sincerely hope that he does well, but only time will tell.
At least one thing in his favour is that he is not following a hard act.

I'm not in favour of a Muslim president, regardless of colour.

If a Muslim can make things better for us all.
Then I would give them the chance to do that.

If a Kentucky Fried Chicken, could do a better job than Bush.
I would give it a bloody chance.

The Church Of Lordy B?

Now I would actually pay to see that.
