I had it in my head that dad was born in 61 and was 50 in 2 years time. WRONG - it was my uncle who was born in 61 and my dad's 50th is the 5th of November THIS year and now i am totally stuck for a present as my original idea of the 21 year old Portwood Balvenie is out the window due to lack of time to save/ a liver problem. Can anyone suggest anything? _________________ Proud to be an ARAB!

This is a bit of a daft idea, but why not contact the local or national paper for a copy of the newspaper from the day he was born. _________________

Another thing that works well, if he likes to read, is a gift certificate for something like Amazon. I finally convinced my kids to do that and its been great. _________________ Up yer kilt and down the hatch |
