You know! Much as this goes against the grain to praise any royal, I must give 9 out of 10 to young Harry.
Unless the footage shown on TV was stage managed, (much like the moon landings in 1969 were) and the camera's were at St. Andrews on the beach filming, then he does come out of this war scenario in Afghanistan as something like a hero royal.
Not that he was in any sense put at the sharp end so to speak!
Shown firing a GPMG? Naw! There are non-coms who do that, not an officer, unless he is the last man standing.
Good PR for the Royal Family in their hour of need. But better still if he had been slightly wounded by a Taliban RPG.
What an accolade for a royal to perhaps earn a VC.
Fat chance, given that other royals get their blinding amount of medals to display for not doing that much for their country. _________________ Please support Cancer Research. |

Were you an extra, or in charge of the filming? _________________ Please support Cancer Research.

He was definately there, but I think it was stage managed too.
But in doing that, they have now made him a bigger target.
If they wanted him away from there, they should have done it quietly.
I agree, he is no more of a hero, than anyone else out there.
Only the fact, that he is a royal, made him a big target.
I would say this media exercise, was a very big fupp up. |

| He's done his bit for PR. He always had a 'get out of jail card'. As soon as it became known, his tour there would be untenable. So.... who leaked the news? I don't believe it was the press for a minute. They would have had much more stories to tell if he could have completed his tour, two fingers to 'Terry Talliban' and all!!! But for a woman's weekly in OZ! Nah. |

Harry is now a bigger target than before & that means that the clubs he & his "girlfriend" frequent are potential targets too..
Also his "girlfriend" is costing the UK tax-payer a bloody fortune in protection as is Prince Williams..
I just dont see the point of royals, their shit smells the same as ours & yet the public still buy into it all..
One more thing while im on a rant-roll,the very fact that this privileged tosspot was given special treatment while out there is nothing short of an insult to the ordinary members of the armed forces.
He spouts nonsense like "I just want to be treated like Joe Bloggs" well if that is so then get on the front line & take yer chances like the rest of them |

I guess that the moon landing way back in '69 was IMO indeed "pie in the sky" or maybe perhaps just what we the greater unwashed public wanted to hear during the cold war against communism at that particular time.
Harry did or did not do what we all wanted and hoped for, and if he did then I salute him.
I truly hope that the TV programme showing just what he was trying to do was indeed genuine.
I have no real axe to grind against the Royal's, but only suspect that many aspects of them trying to show us that they are a normal family and doing their fair share, is to say the very least, laughable.
Some of them are obliged to try, far too few of them don't even bother! _________________ Please support Cancer Research. |

Does anyone else find it strange, or maybe co-incidental,
that while this story is going on, the Diana thing is too?
Maybe I'm being a tad daft here...But..
While I do believe Harry was out there, this story broke,
while there is a conspiracy theory rattling around about the royals.
This would have helped to divert attention.
Is Harry just another pawn in a never ending tale?
He said on film.
"If this film is shown to the media, I could be in trouble"
Not his exact words maybe, but close enough.
Surely every royal knows, that everything filmed, or photographed,
can get, and DOES get leaked.
So either he is very daft, or someone is very clever.
If they can go to these length's, who knows what they are capable of?
They never have been, and never will be, an average family.
Trying to kid us on, is very amusing,to say the least.
They must think we really do believe, what the media gives us.
We are run by muppets, and clowns, in my opinion.
Bring back Mulder, and Scully, the truth is out there. |
