I've got quite a few rarities, but mistake records.
Like one, with the wrong b side on it.
In fact it even has the wrong group on the b side.
It's an Ultravox single, with a Spandau Ballet B side, by mistake.
Wonder if it's worth anything? _________________

I have an autographed copy of Tattoo, by Rory Gallagher.
Oh, and couple of 7 inchers by the Rubettes! |

I've picked up a few oddballs from the 78 age through the years. Here's a few of them:
Here is something I found at an antique store in Kahoka, Missouri about 20 years ago. It was apparently made for play in cinemas to promote a film called MOTHER'S BOY which featured Morton Downey in the title role. He also sang several numbers in the film, two of which are excerpted here, 'I'll always be Mother's boy' and 'There'll be you and I' (coupled on Victor 21940).
No catalogue number on this disc; the same recording is on both sides. Matrix number is BVE 51842-3R; approximate production date is 24 May 1929. Transferred at 78.26 rpm.

One of the earliest collections of records I ever bought as a youngster was a small 'album' of Little Wonder records. I paid $15 for it, at an antique shop in Junction City, Kansas, in the autumn of 1975. Some of the pockets were a bit torn, and not only was the album not 'filled', some of the records were not LWs.
In the back of it were some 'Durium Junior' 4" discs, and then there was this curiosity.
I don't recall whether the man who ran the antique shop had a copy of the book, or whether I thought to ask him about it when I had the chance. I still have never found a first edition (or any other) of the book mentioned on the back of this record, though it would be nice to have one to match the record with.

I have more recent oddities too; somewhere I have a picture disc of 'Brothers in arms' b/w 'Theme from LOCAL HERO' by Dire Straits which is a rectangular 45 made in the UK.
Here's something Scottish I've had since I was 10 years old. It came from a source typically associated with classic Memphis R&B and soul from the 1960s and early 1970s such as Booker T and the MGs, Otis Redding, Johnny Taylor, Sam & Dave, Isaac Hayes....
